Jared Leto Trending on Twitter After Brutal ‘Morbius’ Critiques

Whenever you’re trending on Twitter, it can be a great factor or an unpleasant factor, but for Jared Leto, let’s just say that the singer-actor might find out that at that moment it’s an effective day to stay away from the social networking site. Leto was trending on Twitter after his latest film, Morbius, was rated 18% by critics on Rotten Tomatoes, apparently just a tick away from a 16% tally at a level when the reviews had been submitted.

The film, which stars Leto in the titular role, focuses on a healthcare provider with an uncommon blood dysfunction who, in a determined gamble, tries a cure that originally seems profitable, but eventually turns him into a living vampire with dark urges.

While Morbius is not part of the Marvel Comics universe per se, it is produced by Sony, the company behind the Spider-Man and Venom franchises, and is based on a Marvel movie. And with the passionate fandom of the Marvel universe, you will be able to count on very solid opinions to express.

In a sample of reactions on Twitter, one commenter said “”Morbius extra likes Jared Leto to give us MORE BS,” as another shared, “Jared Leto has achieved one thing in particular. His character portraits have now been the worst in each of the Marvel and DC universes!”

Although the film has not yet been launched, there are some who point to the Rotten Tomatoes critical rating and also take their jabs correctly when it comes to the rating in addition to Leto’s penchant for the methodology appearing.

“It’s less than jared leto’s last cbm lmaooooo. like how can it get any worse than suicide squad 2016?? in fact, the worst movie I’ve ever watched”” wrote one commenter, while another added: “I can’t consider Jared Leto really pretended to be a vampire and drank human blood just so Morbius would get 16% on Rotten Tomatoes.”

For the reason that the Rotten Tomatoes rating has elicited such a damaging response on social media, ScreenCrush recently took a better look at some of the film’s vital responses. Rolling Stone’s David Concern questioned in his assessment, “Is Morbius the worst Marvel movie ever made? In an alternate universe without The New Mutants, the answer would probably be safe.”

Kate Erbland of Indiewire had the following quote “”Sucks more than just blood“, while Brian Truitt of USA Today added ” ”Rather than a fang time, Morbius is just a soul-sucking effort“ and Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian commented, “It really is an incredibly pointless and stupid movie.”

As ScreenCrush identified, critics largely disliked what they described because of the incomprehensible movement of the film and further claimed that the film’s final moments and the post-credits scene had been downright horrible. The movie is coming this Friday (April 1st) and the ultimate trailer can be seen below.

While Leto is currently taking his tracks for Morbius, he also has a profession as a musician. The musician revealed not so long ago during a conversation with the host of Apple Music 1, Zane Lowe, that he and his brother Shannon have “two albums, maybe three, of fabric value” for Thirty Seconds to Mars.

“As difficult as this point was for so many people in the world and devastating for so many people, there was also a flip side to it”” Leto explained to Lowe. “And for each of my brothers and I, I think it was as if the universe was doing for us what we wouldn’t do for ourselves, the place in fact, it was the first time we had been in one place for so long since we were little children. And while the little kids, we were moving around like, you already know. We had the form of a vagabond hippie life. And it was a blessing. And I sat down and started writing. It took me a month or two to get up to speed on the problems. However, he wrote about 200 songs. And now we have maybe two albums, maybe three, value of fabric. And we will begin to place it momentarily. I’m implying, actually momentarily. So excited.”So maybe the Thirty Seconds on Mars file that follows can give a more constructive answer.
